About

My name is Nathan Hardie, and I write, critique, broadcast, podcast, curate, host, promote, edit, act, read scripts and watch too many films.

From studying mathematics at Plymouth University and working a nine-to-five administration job for two years, I pivoted to writing during the pandemic to develop my passion for cinema and storytelling. Since then, I have been published in Freestyle Bristol, Rife Magazine, and Reflective Encounters, covering film festivals, premieres and events.

I have since expanded my practice into more presenting roles, which included co-hosting duties on BCfm Radio’s Friday morning show, podcasting and various introductions, roundtables and Q&As – predominantly at the independent cinema Watershed.
